Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist ED North, located at Baptist Emergency at Dunn Avenue. This is a Full-Time, Night shift opportunity with a 36-hour per week commitment, working 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM. The Baptist North Emergency Center is located at the northeast intersection of I-295 and Dunn Avenue and brings the high-quality care of Baptist Health and Wolfson Children’s Hospital to residents of northwest Jacksonville. As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients with a wide range of medical, surgical, and emergent conditions. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans, educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, and plans of care, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care. You will also coordinate services provided by ancillary departments to support optimal patient outcomes, serve as a patient advocate, promoting patient safety, dignity, and satisfaction, and uphold and embody the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health. Additionally, you will participate in staff meetings, unit-based initiatives, and continuous quality improvement activities. This position is based in the Emergency Department at Baptist ED North, located at Baptist Emergency at Dunn Avenue in Jacksonville, FL.
