About The Position
Baptist Health is hiring an Assistant Nurse Manager to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Nassau Crossing in Yulee, FL. This is a full-time night shift opportunity with a commitment of 36 hours per week. The Emergency Department at Baptist Nassau Crossing provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced registered nurse who is passionate about supporting clinical excellence, developing nursing staff, and delivering exceptional patient outcomes while fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Responsible for overseeing, directing, and providing care to patients requiring immediate treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
Requirements
- 3-5 years Nursing Experience
- Emergency Department Nursing Experience
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Licensed Registered Nurse
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Nice To Haves
- Leadership or Charge Nurse experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Responsibilities
- Assists the Nurse Manager with unit/area operations
- Works closely with the direct care staff during their shift to deliver quality patient care
- Is an expert clinical resource
- Facilitates the admission, transfer and discharge flow
- Takes a lead role in implementing changes
- Supports and coaches staff development
- Makes shift to shift patient care assignments
- Takes a direct patient care assignment as needed.
