This role provides for patient needs using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement. It involves the organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and the coordination of care with ancillary services. The position includes educating patients and their families about their disease process and plan of care, serving as a patient advocate, and providing care to patients with various medical, surgical, or other conditions, including chronic illnesses and minor injuries. The primary location for this role is the Main Building at Baptist South.
