About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Mercy South Vein Center utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability for assigned patients. This role involves coordinating patient care with other departments, upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and performing duties consistent with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards. The Mercy South Vein Center specializes in diagnosing and treating venous diseases such as varicose veins, leg swelling, and venous ulcers. As part of a collaborative team in an outpatient setting, the RN will work closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care. Mercy Vein Center is recognized for its expertise, being the first facility in Missouri and Illinois to receive IAC accreditation in venous treatment and management and the only one in the St. Louis region with this distinction.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN license
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire

Nice To Haves

• Previous outpatient or procedural experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients
• Assist with vein procedures and treatments
• Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
• Document patient care in the EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to ensure exceptional patient care
• Support daily clinic operations and patient flow
