About The Position

Trinity Health Livonia is a beautiful full-service, 304-bed acute care hospital, located in Livonia, MI, that provides comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, general medicine, inpatient and outpatient surgery, physical medicine and rehabilitation, intensive care unit, cancer, cardiology, geriatrics and birthing and women's health. Through several major expansions in the hospital, programs and services, Trinity Health Livonia continues to offer the latest in quality health and medical services. The Birthing Center is a 20-bed LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit that offers a family-centered approach to childbirth, allowing mothers and newborns to stay together throughout their care journey. The unit includes a dedicated triage area for rapid assessment and prioritization of expectant mothers. We provide comprehensive obstetric care in a supportive, nurturing environment, with a focus on safety, comfort, and personalized experiences for every family. SUMMARY: The Registered Nurse is accountable for the management of patient care during a designated timeframe. The responsibilities include coordination and evaluation of care, teaching and delegation of patient activities to the other health care team members via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, and the environment. Requirements

  • Associates degree in Nursing required.
  • BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years.
  • Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan required.
  • BLS required.
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • Must have excellent customer skills.

  • Previous medical surgical experience preferred.
