About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in a specialized 24-bed Inpatient Surgical Unit serving a diverse post-surgical population at an Orthopedic Center of Excellence. The role provides high-quality nursing care to surgical and orthopedic patients and offers the opportunity to use assessment skills while expanding knowledge of surgical and medical-level care. The nurse coordinates nursing care through the nursing process and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team. The organization values shared decision-making and exemplary professional practice.
Requirements
- At least two years of Registered Nurse experience in two or more areas.
- Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Must have CPR, in addition to requirements for specialty units.
