Ortho Neuro Acute Care RN – Medical Surgical Registered Nurse - Sign On Bonus
About The Position
The Ortho Neuro Registered Nurse provides outcome-based patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse builds relationships with patients and their families, advocates for patients, and collaborates with physicians and other team members to support comprehensive care. The role supervises and coordinates LPNs, Patient Care Assistants, and other nursing staff, supports patients’ recovery, and revises care plans as needed. Care reflects MercyOne’s commitment to evidence-based practice and its Mission, Vision, and Values. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week role with 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m. The schedule includes every-third holiday and weekend rotation. A sign-on bonus starts at $10,000.
Requirements
- Associate degree required.
- Current Iowa RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Mandatory Reporter.
