About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a MedSurg/Telemetry unit. The role provides nursing care to telemetry and neuro patients and supports high standards of patient care. The schedule is nights, 7 PM to 7 AM, totaling 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday work is required, with availability on either Christmas Eve or Christmas Day based on unit needs.
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of 3 years of MedSurg/Telemetry experience.
- Strong background in telemetry and neuro nursing.
Nice To Haves
- MediTech experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the MedSurg and telemetry setting.
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to changes in patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment options.
- Prepare and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulatory standards.
