Registered Nurse - (RN) Float Pool II - Med Surg/Cardiac & Progressive/ICU
About The Position
The Registered Nurse Float Pool II supports Med Surg/Cardiac or Progressive/ICU areas at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The nurse is expected to float to units within their specialty at the facility and may also be assigned to one of three freestanding emergency rooms to care for patients awaiting bed placement; emergency department experience is not required. The role calls for flexibility and willingness to help wherever needed. The RN provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and skilled communication, the nurse helps create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum of care. This is a full-time position working three 12-hour night shifts per week, with variable days and weekend and holiday requirements. The listed pay range is $38.20–$57.30.
Requirements
- Experience in at least two of the following specialties: Critical Care, Progressive Care, Cardiac, or Med/Surg.
- Flexibility and willingness to help wherever the need is.
- Ability to work three 12-hour night shifts per week, on variable days, including weekends and holidays.
