Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

- One year of experience in a physician office, clinic, or medically related environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with all members of the healthcare team
- Excellent patient service and customer care skills
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Obtain vital signs, medical histories, and other preliminary patient information
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Perform routine office testing and clinical procedures as ordered
- Prepare and administer medications, including injectable and aerosol treatments
- Educate patients regarding medications, treatments, and follow-up care
- Accurately document patient information, treatments, and clinical activities
- Process prescription refill requests and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner
- Manage incoming communications, including mail, patient messages, and provider requests
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care and positive outcomes
