About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse in Primary Care at Saint Thomas Medical Partners Bellevue in Nashville, TN. The position is full-time, working days. The nurse will advocate and strategize for patient care plans, acting as a vigilant communicator by monitoring conditions and relaying vital updates to the team. They will execute physician and nursing orders with precision and lead the discharge planning process to ensure a safe transition home for patients.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and evolve patient care plans to meet unique needs.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate vital updates to the team in real-time.
- Interpret and carry out physician and nursing orders, ensuring clinical accuracy.
- Lead the discharge planning process from day one, collaborating with the care team for a safe transition home.
