About The Position

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse delivers safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and provides direct care within the scope of practice. The role includes directing and guiding patient and family teaching and the activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining ICU standards of care. The nurse is directly responsible and accountable for care provided to assigned patients. The role communicates changes in patients’ clinical conditions to physicians, including hemodynamic monitoring, diagnostic study results, abnormal results, and symptoms. The nurse must respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response and maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN license.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained thereafter.
Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
Current ACLS certificate within 30 days of hire and maintained thereafter.
At least one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital.

Nice To Haves

Completion of a Critical Care Course.
Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Critical care experience.
