Registered Nurse | Adult Mental Health Unit
About The Position
St. Cloud Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care on its Adult and Adolescent Mental Health Units and EmPATH Unit. The nurse conducts comprehensive functional health assessments covering physical, psychological, cultural, and social factors; identifies patient needs; develops and implements individualized care plans; evaluates outcomes; and supports patients’ healing and recovery. This is a full-time, on-site role scheduled for 64 hours every two weeks on the evening shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. The schedule includes every third weekend (Friday through Sunday) and rotating holidays. Pay is based on experience and degree, with a stated range of $44.57 to $74.37 per hour. Evening, night, and weekend shift differentials may apply. A hiring bonus of up to $3,500 and relocation assistance of $5,000 may be available to eligible candidates.
Requirements
- Graduate from a nursing program.
- Obtain at least a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing within three years of hire.
- Hold current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Minnesota.
- Complete required initial and ongoing Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training, which is provided.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing.
- Previous experience in mental health nursing.
- American Nurses Association (ANA) Psychiatric–Mental Health Certification.
