About The Position

Deliver professional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical or other invasive procedures. Perform scrub functions by preparing, selecting, and handling sterile surgical instruments and supplies. Execute circulating duties by monitoring patient condition and managing overall care before, during, and after procedures. Directly assist surgeons with positioning, hemostats, suturing, and wound exposure. Prepare operating rooms and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are ready for use.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
