About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. The role involves hands-on care for medically complex patients, long-term patient relationships, and collaboration with a clinical team that includes Patient Care Technicians. Paid training is provided. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The nurse may float to nearby clinics as needed, and training may take place at a clinic other than the home location. Reliable transportation is needed for potential floating.
Requirements
- An RN license in the state of practice.
- An ADN.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- A BSN is preferred.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
