About The Position

BAYADA at Inspira Hospice is seeking compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses to join its West Deptford, New Jersey office. The office serves hospice clients on a per-visit basis in Salem, Cumberland, and Gloucester counties. As a hospice nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary health care team providing palliative care to clients so they can receive the medical care they need while remaining at home.

The role involves home visits within designated geographic territories and delivering care according to each client’s needs. Nurses use a touch pad tablet to document care and services. BAYADA offers training and scholarship opportunities, career tracks, recognition, and potential career advancement. Base pay is $42.00–$47.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and status and subject to negotiation.

Requirements

• Hold a current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• Have at least one year of recent, verifiable clinical (medical/surgical) experience.
• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Be able to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Have strong interpersonal skills.
• Have solid computer skills.
• Be able to travel to assigned cases.

Nice To Haves

• Prior home care experience is strongly preferred but not required.
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a designated care plan in accordance with patients’ needs.
• Make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Perform assigned duties, including medication administration, wound care, treatments, and procedures.
• Monitor clients’ conditions and report changes to the Clinical or Client Services Manager.
• Follow up on, execute, and properly document doctors’ orders.
• Perform client assessments as necessary.
• Provide case management and coordination.
• Accurately document observations, interventions, evaluations, and services provided using a touch pad tablet.
