Registered Nurse (RN) Skilled Community 7AM-7P Part-Time

About The Position

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the daily clinical aspect of the Assisted Living Department and for meeting residents’ needs. The position includes medication supervision and administration for the Skilled Nursing Department in compliance with federal and state regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines. The schedule is 7AM–7PM, with Tuesday and Saturday shifts in week one and Sunday and Friday shifts in week two.

Requirements

Currently hold a valid Registered Nurse’s License in the state in which you are practicing.
CPR certification.
At least 1 year of experience working in a clinical nursing setting.
Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks safely and effectively.
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in high-stress situations.
Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.
Be compassionate, professional, kind, engaging, empathetic, and helpful.

Responsibilities

Supervise and administer medications for the Skilled Nursing Department in compliance with federal and state regulations and Senior Lifestyle Corporation guidelines.
Provide general consultation regarding health-related concerns within the community.
Notify physicians and/or family members of changes in residents’ health and provide proper documentation.
Respond quickly to emergencies.
Maintain close communication with all departments and staff members.
Maintain confidentiality of residents’ and prospective residents’ information.
Provide educational meetings for residents and staff.
