About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to work in the MedSurg/Telemetry unit. The nurse will provide patient care, perform telemetry monitoring, and may float to similar units as needed. The schedule is nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with options for three or four shifts per week, totaling 36 or 48 hours. Employees are expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday. A telemetry test will be administered on the first day of orientation.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts RN License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
• Telemetry experience is required.

Nice To Haves

• Meditech experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assess patients’ health problems and needs.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Provide education and support for patients and their families.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care.
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Float to similar units as needed.
