Registered Nurse (RN) - Part Time Days
About The Position
Select Specialty Hospital - Victorian Village is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who need extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses provide compassionate care and treatment throughout patients’ recovery. This part-time role is scheduled for two 12-hour day shifts per week and includes a required weekend rotation. The posting also describes a minimum per diem requirement of four shifts in a six-week period. Compensation is $37.90 to $51.00 per hour, based on experience. The hospital offers an extensive RN orientation program and notes potential opportunities to move into full-time roles.
Requirements
- Valid state RN license.
- BLS certification required at hire.
- ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
- Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Document information accurately and promptly using appropriate systems.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Demonstrate competence during rapid response and code events.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
