About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. The Registered Nurse provides compassionate care and treatment to patients throughout their recovery. The role is part-time, with a day schedule of 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and a requirement to work two 12-hour shifts per week. The hourly compensation range is $44.58–$60.00, based on years of experience. The hospital offers an extensive RN orientation program and notes that strong performance may lead to potential full-time opportunities.

Requirements

• Valid state RN license.
• BLS certification required at hire.
• ACLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
