Registered Nurse - Home Health
About The Position
St. Luke’s is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Home Health team. The Home Care RN supports Home Health and Hospital-at-Home services by providing comprehensive in-home care to patients with new diagnoses, new medications, respiratory needs, wound care, and those discharged from the emergency room. The nurse monitors progress on care plans, educates patients about disease processes, and assesses physical and psychological needs to support quality of life. When patients are ready for discharge, the nurse coordinates necessary resources and provides education to patients and families. This is a full-time position based in Meridian, Idaho, with a Monday–Friday schedule, rotating weekends, and on-call responsibilities. Compensation is hourly and includes drive time and mileage reimbursement for travel in Boise and surrounding regions. Additional pay applies for on-call work and eligible differentials. New hires may receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The position offers cross-training in Hospital-at-Home, tuition and certification reimbursement, professional training programs, scholarships, and opportunities to participate in care councils and shared governance committees.
Requirements
- Nursing degree (ASN or BSN).
- At least 1 year of RN experience.
- Current RN license in the state of Idaho.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proof of auto insurance.
