About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Yavapai County Home Health team in Prescott, Arizona. The RN is an integral member of a multidisciplinary health care team, providing skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients so they can remain at home. Care is delivered one-to-one in accordance with each client’s care plan, with compassion, excellence, and reliability. Prior home health and OASIS experience are required, and participation in a weekend on-call rotation is required. The opportunity is up to full-time and offers benefits. The nurse delivers skilled nursing interventions and supportive care, including medication administration, wound care, and treatments. The RN assesses clients, educates patients and/or their families, monitors patient condition, and documents observations, interventions, and evaluations using a touch pad tablet. BAYADA provides paid training from day one in the office, in the home, and online, along with around-the-clock clinical support. The position includes flexible scheduling and weekly pay.
Requirements
- Current nursing license in good standing in the state of Arizona.
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- At least one year of nursing experience.
- Prior home health experience.
- Prior OASIS experience.
- Availability to participate in a weekend on-call rotation.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-to-one skilled nursing, interventions, and supportive care in accordance with individual care plans.
- Administer medication and provide wound care and treatments.
- Perform client assessments and monitor patients’ conditions.
- Educate patients and/or their families.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care and services using a touch pad tablet.
- Participate in the weekend on-call rotation.
