About The Position
The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, and administering patient care within the scope of their training and expertise. The role collaborates with other professional disciplines to deliver effective and efficient care and achieve desired patient outcomes, consistent with hospital objectives and policies and the Tennessee Nurse Practice Act. The position is in the Nursery and is PRN with variable shifts: 7 PM–7 AM or 7 AM–7 PM. Four 12-hour shifts are required every six weeks. Requirements
- Registered Nurse licensure (LIC-Registered Nurse).
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
- Graduate of an approved discipline-specific program.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate in establishing the plan of care, coordinate and implement care delivery, and anticipate patient care needs across the continuum.
- Analyze comprehensive information relevant to patient care and management to determine nursing diagnoses.
- Use the nursing process to evaluate patient progress toward goals and apply appropriate interventions to ensure effective outcomes.
- Employ strategies that promote health and a safe, healthy environment.
