About The Position

The RN, Registered Nurse 12-Hr provides safe, cost-effective patient care throughout the health experience, following established standards and using the nursing process within the scope of Registered Nursing practice. The role is in Emergency Services at MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center in Long Beach, California, on a full-time night shift.

Pay is listed at $50.74–$77.79. Placement within the range depends on factors including relevant experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonuses. The position is eligible for a $20,000 signing bonus for external hires new to MemorialCare Health System, subject to employment requirements.

Requirements

• Current California license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR & AED) certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Current PALS certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN), unless waived by Nurse Executive Council review.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program, unless otherwise approved by the Nursing Executive Council (NEC). ACEN and CCNE are listed as approved accrediting bodies; other accrediting bodies must be approved by NEC.
