About The Position

All Ways Caring HomeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect care to clients in their homes. The nurse supervises and directs Caregivers involved in clients’ plans of care. Depending on state regulations, the role may include administrative and/or field clinical responsibilities. The nurse provides skilled care in accordance with physician orders and plans of care, conducts assessments and supervisory visits, supports clients’ health needs, and works with nursing and branch leadership to coordinate care.

Requirements

Degree in Nursing from an accredited school.
Current and unrestricted license in the state of operation.
Professional CPR certification.
Excellent communication skills with all levels of internal and external personnel.
Ability to work independently with highly confidential information.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care and treatment to clients according to physicians’ orders and plans of care.
Document nursing actions and care provided, and inform physicians and families as appropriate.
Administer and monitor medications and medication management as prescribed by physicians.
Conduct nursing assessment visits as needed.
Follow company policies and procedures and applicable operational, state, and regulatory standards.
Complete supervisory visits, including reviewing plans of care, assessing caregiver competency, and completing required documentation.
Implement nursing support for individuals in a home setting.
Work with the Director of Nursing, Nurse Supervisor, and/or Branch Manager to address individuals’ health needs.
Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and other meetings as needed.
Ensure compliance with physicians’ verbal orders and medical reports.
