About The Position

Sentara is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) for our Hampton Roads hospitals. This is a networking and hiring event at Topgolf where candidates can play, eat, connect with nursing leaders, and explore RN opportunities in various specialties including Medical-Surgical, Intermediate Care, Stepdown, Critical Care, and Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse (RN) – New Graduate role specifically focuses on providing nursing and patient care during the first year of practice, with support from preceptors, experienced RNs, and Sentara’s nurse residency and onboarding program. The role involves assessing patients, contributing to care plans, administering medications, documenting in the electronic health record, and developing clinical judgment and safe practice habits. As competencies are validated, the RN will take on greater autonomy and patient complexity.
