Registered Nurse
About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide life-saving care to patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions in an outpatient dialysis setting. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The position offers a fast-paced, hands-on environment, long-term patient relationships, and the opportunity to apply a broad range of nursing skills while caring for medically complex patients. The schedule is flexible and may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The nurse may float to nearby clinics, and training may take place at a clinic other than the home location.
Requirements
- Hold an RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
- Able to work a flexible schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN/CDN certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting.
- Monitor patients, manage treatment plans, and respond to changes in their health.
- Collaborate with a clinical team, including Patient Care Technicians.
- Educate patients and families about kidney health and treatment options.
- Float to nearby clinics as needed.
