About The Position

Kingsley Specialty Care, a 43-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Kingsley, Iowa, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate direct nursing care in a skilled nursing environment. The role supports daily clinical operations, resident safety, and high-quality care while working collaboratively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Full-time and part-time schedules are available from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with a competitive hourly rate and shift differentials.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in good standing, valid in Iowa or with the ability to activate it.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Commitment to helping others and treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
