About The Position
The Registered Nurse assesses, implements, and evaluates care for assigned patients under the direction of a licensed physician. The RN applies knowledge of nursing principles, theories, current methods, and techniques, using the nursing process to collaborate with patients, their family members or significant others, professional peers, and other health care team members to individualize care. The RN directs nursing support staff in providing patient care in accordance with nursing practice standards and administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training, or additional certifications may be required by specialty area. The RN adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license required.
- Basic Life Support required.
Nice To Haves
- Two years of experience in the area of clinical specialty preferred.
