About The Position
This is an exciting opportunity to continue your nursing career on a 51-bed medical surgical telemetry unit. The unit focuses on Medical/Surgical patients, with a dedicated hall for heart failure patients and two halls serving as the primary inpatient unit for the Family Medicine residency program. The unit, which originally opened in 2021, has transitioned into a comprehensive Medical/Surgical unit. Medical-Surgical nursing provides foundational skills for a nursing career, and this unit is known for its excellent patient care and teamwork. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. You will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Responsibilities
