About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is located on the 2CGHJ unit, a 51-bed medical surgical telemetry unit at Atrium Health Cabarrus. The unit cares for Medical/Surgical patients, patients with heart failure, and serves as the primary inpatient unit for the Family Medicine residency program. Originally opened in 2021, the unit has transitioned into a comprehensive Medical/Surgical unit. This role provides foundational skills for a nursing career and emphasizes excellent patient care and teamwork.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
