RN - Acute Care (102126.5) FULL TIME
About The Position
Bitterroot Health is seeking an Acute Care Registered Nurse in Hamilton, Montana. The Acute Care RN provides professional nursing care to patients with various acuities across the age spectrum. The role evaluates the nursing process and documents findings in the EMR; directs patient care activities; collaborates with ancillary staff; and communicates with providers and co-workers regarding patient conditions. The nurse also participates in quality and performance improvement projects. This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week on the day shift. The position is eligible for the full benefit package.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a BSN or ADN.
- Current Montana or compact nursing license in accordance with Montana Board of Nursing Regulations.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Obtain ACLS and PALS within one year of hire.
- Obtain NIHSS within one year of hire.
- Ability to coordinate care, assess plans, and evaluate needs to assure quality care.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Nice To Haves
- Computer skills and EMR experience preferred.
