About The Position

Join our 30-bed medical-surgical Pulmonary unit with an 8-bed progressive care unit, where you'll care for patients with a range of complex diagnoses including pneumonia, COPD, congestive heart failure, and pulmonary embolism. Nurses on this unit manage advanced therapies such as oxygen support, mechanical ventilation, and cardiac monitoring, providing both acute and progressive level care. You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support recovery through education, clinical expertise, and collaboration. The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients. Whether you're a newly graduated RN or have years of experience as an RN, this position offers an opportunity to work independently and with a team of motivated professionals to provide ongoing collaboration and learning. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program required, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA).
  • Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred.
