About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a 30-bed medical-surgical Pulmonary unit with an 8-bed progressive care unit. Nurses on this unit care for patients with complex diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, congestive heart failure, and pulmonary embolism, managing advanced therapies including oxygen support, mechanical ventilation, and cardiac monitoring for both acute and progressive level care. The RN will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support recovery through education, clinical expertise, and collaboration. The role involves utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care. This opportunity is open to both newly graduated RNs and experienced RNs, offering a chance to work independently and collaboratively within a team of motivated professionals. Requirements

Graduate from an accredited nursing program, including, but not limited to, American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), and National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA)
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications
Adaptable

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients
