Nurses on this unit care for patients with complex diagnoses such as pneumonia, COPD, congestive heart failure, and pulmonary embolism, managing advanced therapies including oxygen support, mechanical ventilation, and cardiac monitoring. The role involves providing both acute and progressive level care, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care and support recovery through education, clinical expertise, and collaboration. The position offers an opportunity to work independently and with a team, providing ongoing collaboration and learning, suitable for both newly graduated RNs and experienced professionals.
