About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse Unit Manager (RNUM) to lead clinical operations within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, supervising nursing staff, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize resident outcomes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance while fostering a supportive and efficient care environment.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program
Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
COVID-19 Vaccination (as per facility guidelines)
0–2 years of RN experience preferred
Prior experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree preferred
Master’s in Nursing or Healthcare Administration is a plus

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate patient care in alignment with individualized care plans and facility policies
Develop, implement, and evaluate resident care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Administer medications and treatments in compliance with regulatory and facility standards
Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to clinical changes
Supervise, mentor, and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to improve resident outcomes
Conduct routine rounds and address resident/family concerns professionally
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of all care activities
