About The Position

Sentara is hiring full-time Registered Nurse Unit Coordinators at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. Qualified candidates may be eligible for up to a $20,000 sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. This role involves demonstrating proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and providing clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in a department. The Unit Coordinator will lead safety and quality initiatives under the direction of the department manager, focus on and simplify workflow, and contribute to staff development. The goal is to increase staff satisfaction and promote excellent customer service.

Requirements

Registered Nurse license required
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire
18 months RN experience required

Nice To Haves

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
