Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role offers experienced RNs an opportunity to step out of a high-pressure hospital or traditional clinic setting into a role built around autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. Most nurses work independently, managing their day by seeing clients and providing them with the best experience possible, supported by a network of clinical leadership. Travel medicine is a specialty where you will develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Every client interaction is a true consultation. The role involves conducting in-depth travel health consultations, educating clients on destination-specific risks, administering vaccines, recommending travel health products and medications, and managing clinic setup, inventory, and compliance. Support for onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events may be required. Ongoing travel medicine training is provided. For specific locations, performing immigration physicals and maintaining strict USCIS documentation compliance is a required part of the role, with training provided. The scheduling model is census-based, with hours based on client demand, varying by location and season. Schedules aim for 6-12 months of consistency, but hours are not guaranteed in some markets. Availability within set scheduling windows is required, and flexibility can increase scheduled hours. Peak travel seasons (typically February–August) generally bring higher and more stable volume.
