Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Medicine
About The Position
Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role is not a traditional nursing position, offering autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. Most nurses work independently, managing their day around clients and delivering the best experience possible, with support from a network of clinical leadership. Travel medicine is a specialty where you will build deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel planning. Every client interaction is a real consultation.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing (compact/multistate accepted — must legally reside in your licensed state)
- 3+ years of clinical nursing experience
- Comfortable working independently
- Strong patient communication and education skills
- Reliable access to a personal computer and proficiency with Google Suite
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Ability to lift and transport vaccine inventory (up to 25 lbs)

Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth travel health consultations and educate clients on destination-specific risks
- Administer vaccines per standing orders and monitor for adverse reactions
- Recommend travel health products and medications as clinically appropriate
- Manage clinic setup, inventory, and safety/documentation compliance
- Support onsite corporate wellness or vaccine clinic events as needed
- Complete ongoing travel medicine training
