Passport Health is North America's largest travel medicine and immunization provider, with 300+ clinics across the U.S. and Canada. This role is not a traditional nursing role and offers autonomy, specialized expertise, and genuine one-on-one patient connection. Most nurses work independently, managing their day by seeing clients and providing the best experience possible, supported by a network of clinical leadership. Travel medicine is a specialty where you will develop deep expertise in vaccine-preventable diseases, international health risks, and pre-travel health planning. Every client interaction is a true consultation. This position is part-time, requiring 16-24 hours per week, with a required Saturday rotation. Some locations also support immigration-related medical services, including civil surgeon exams and required vaccinations for USCIS applicants, which involves performing immigration physicals and maintaining strict USCIS documentation compliance. Training is provided for these services, but attention to detail and comfort with regulated documentation workflows is essential. Passport Health uses a census-based scheduling model, where hours are based on client demand, which varies by location and season. Schedules are created to offer 6-12 months of consistency, but hours are not guaranteed in some markets. Flexibility and availability within set scheduling windows are required. Peak travel seasons (typically February–August) generally bring higher and more stable volume.
