About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exemplary patient care in various clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess the necessary skills and experience to deliver high-quality nursing services, ensuring patient safety and comfort. The float pool encompasses several units including MedSurg Tele and PCU, with a focus on both inpatient care and emergency department holds. The various settings include: East Campus: Features a 10-bed NextCare unit for ICU and stepdown patients. West Campus: Includes a stepdown area with 14 double-occupancy rooms. West Med Tele: A 95-bed unit divided into four areas with MedSurg arranged in 10-room pods. The RN will manage a range of patient conditions, particularly: Geriatric patients, Orthopedic patients, and Post-procedural care for patients from a strong cath lab program. Common diagnoses in this role include: Post Myocardial Infarction (MI), Post Cardiac Catheterization, and Post Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) on days 3-4 post-operation.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS certification.
• Ability to titrate common drips: Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin.
