About The Position
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in various Telemetry and Medical-Surgical units. Our ideal candidates will be able to provide exceptional patient care while demonstrating clinical proficiency and a commitment to teamwork.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to contract signing.
- Successful completion of a simulation lab assessment on the first day of orientation.
Nice To Haves
- Neuro Intensive Care unit qualification (NIHSS) preferred for specific unit placements.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret patient heart rhythms and vital signs.
- Administer cardiac drips as required, ensuring proper titration.
- Float between different units as needed, including ICU, Cardiac Telemetry, and Medical-Surgical units.
- Provide care for patients with a range of diagnoses, including post-operative and cardiac care.
- Participate in daily rounds and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Complete necessary documentation and maintain compliance with facility protocols.
