About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for an 8-week contract position. This role requires a skilled nursing professional to provide care in various healthcare settings, specifically focusing on neuro telemetry and surgical recovery. The RN will be responsible for managing patients with conditions such as CVA/TIA, subdurals, and seizure disorders.
Requirements
- Valid RN license in Illinois
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Experience in EPIC charting system
Nice To Haves
- Specialization in neuro telemetry
- Experience with post-operative recovery from procedures such as Whipple surgeries, esophagectomies, and colon resections
- Knowledge of vascular surgery post peripheral angiograms, PAD with wounds, and lower limb amputations
