About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Telemetry Float Pool. The candidate will work across multiple units, providing high-quality care to a diverse population of patients. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic clinical team and work in a variety of specialties.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required.
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as well as accommodate a 6-week schedule.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in neuro nursing is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with various medical conditions.
- Float between multiple units, including General MS-Tele, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observations.
- Monitor patient health, taking necessary interventions based on acuity levels.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including titration of heparin drips as required.
- Participate in unit orientation and training with designated preceptors.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
