About The Position

This is a Telemetry Registered Nurse position on the PCU Nights unit. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:5-6. This unit operates similarly to a telemetry unit. The position requires 2 years of experience, and first-time applicants are accepted. Weekend requirements include working 2 shifts every other weekend. For day shifts, this means working Saturday and Sunday every other weekend. For night shifts, it can be either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday, depending on the rotation. ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications are required. This is not an on-call position. Clinicians are expected to float within their scope to meet facility needs, specifically to the Telemetry unit. Block scheduling is not accommodated. Locals are accepted, with a local radius rule of 75 miles. Pending licenses are accepted. There are no RTO restrictions. The position guarantees 36 hours for 3-12 hour shifts. There are no special requirements. The facility is an acute care hospital with 233 total staffed beds. The scrub color is navy, and charting is done via EPIC. Parking is free.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• ACLS certification.
• BCLS certification.
• NIH certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide telemetry nursing care to patients.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, specifically to the Telemetry unit.
• Work 2 shifts every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday for day shift; Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday for night shift depending on rotation).
