About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) position is on the CC4 Telemetry Information Unit at a 345-bed hospital with a 3-time Magnet Designation. The unit has approximately 80 staff in its float pool. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 on days and nights, but may vary by unit. The unit utilizes various Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, including Meditech / CPN. The unit serves a large cardiac population with two telemetry floors and a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) floor. Staff may be required to float across all inpatient medical/telemetry and rehabilitation units. This role offers excellent learning opportunities to care for patients with diverse acute and chronic medical issues. The unit fosters a supportive family environment where staff collaboratively care for one another and the patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care telemetry hospital experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
Nice To Haves
- Strong telemetry experience.
- Chemotherapy Certification (this would allow scheduling on oncology unit).
Responsibilities
