Requirements

Three years as a Registered Nurse (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
Four years of professional nursing experience providing care and treatment services consistent with those needed for individuals with a mental or physical injury or illness and/or a developmental disability.
Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
If you possess an active temporary practice permit, you must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing staff and guide daily care activities for residents
Review care plans, documentation, and assessment information for accuracy
Assign personnel, direct workflow, and support staff in meeting resident needs
Assess serious incidents and complete required reporting forms
Evaluate health service trends and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
Observe resident conditions and ensure changes are communicated to appropriate staff
