Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
  • Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience, including supervisory experience.
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Advanced written and verbal communication.
  • Organizational ability

  • Self starter.
  • Strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises staff that performs the following duties: Plans, coordinates, and leads quality surveys at long term residential care facilities to ensure quality care is provided to all Arkansas patients.
  • Ensure that facts and data a recorded in statement of deficiencies to substantiate or unsubstantiate any complaints or compliance issues for long term care facilities.
  • Completes surveys within a specific timeframe.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to a team of registered nurses and nursing support staff.
  • Oversee patient care planning, including assessing patient needs and monitoring outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards.
  • Provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource for nursing staff on complex cases.
  • Coordinate care across departments, ensuring efficient communication and workflow.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of nursing protocols and best practices.
