About The Position

The Registered Nurse Supervisor/Expert leads and supervises nursing teams to ensure quality patient care and compliance with healthcare standards and protocols. Depending on the hiring agency’s operational needs, the position may include supervisory duties; non-supervisory assignments serve as senior technical expert roles. The role requires clinical expertise, leadership, and the ability to manage nursing staff in a variety of settings. The position is based at Conway Human Development Center in Conway, Arkansas. Other job-related education or experience may be substituted for some or all basic requirements with approval from the Qualifications Review Committee, except for certification or licensure requirements.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Arkansas.
At least five years of Registered Nursing experience, including supervisory experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical nursing practices, management, and patient care strategies.
Strong leadership, team-building, and conflict-resolution skills.
Ability to analyze patient data, assess outcomes, and adjust care plans as needed.
Proficiency in healthcare regulations, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for supervising teams and interacting with patients.

Responsibilities

Supervise and provide guidance to registered nurses and nursing support staff.
Oversee patient care planning, including assessing patient needs and monitoring outcomes.
Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and quality standards.
Provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource to nursing staff on complex cases.
Coordinate care across departments to support efficient communication and workflow.
Assist in developing and implementing nursing protocols and best practices.
