About The Position

This position provides clinical support and expertise for Primary Children’s Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Program, the only program of its kind in Utah and in the Intermountain West. This program provides specialty expertise and comprehensive patient care for female reproductive health from birth to 18 years of age. Responsibilities include clinic support, and Coordination of patient care.

Requirements

  • Current RN License in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • Practice specific certification as required by the clinical setting in which they work (i.e., ACLS, PALS, etc.).
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is required as of the job description's last update on 4/27/2025.
  • RNs with less than 12 months of working experience as an RN prior to joining Intermountain must obtain their BSN within five years of their start date.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in healthcare or clinical support, with experience in patient care coordination
  • Strong organizational and communication skills to manage clinic workflows effectively
  • Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
  • Compassionate approach to supporting pediatric and adolescent patients and their families
  • Familiarity with electronic health records and scheduling systems preferred
  • Adult Gynecology Experience
  • Outpatient Clinic Experience
